ANOTHER ANSWER TO "CIVIS."
To the EditorSir,—! should liko to remark on some of "Chris's" "No. 1: Have only reliable men." 1 consider it an insult 'to the Brigade. Because some of the members never hoard the bell (a tin pot one at that) they aro unreliable. "No. 2: Practice coupling, «te." When a liose 'blows out at the joimt it is no fault of the person connecting the coupling. No. 3: thoroughly ■test all hese." The hose is tested nearly every night the Brigade meets for practice; new hose is just as liable to burst as old hose; and you never know when a hose is going to burst; so I think "Civis" does noit know what lie is talking abonifc. As to No. 4, I agree with "Civis" that all plugs should be above the surface and properly marked. In conclusion, I will ask "Civis" to mind his own business and leave the Fire Brigado alone. He is very quick at criticising and finding fault, buit if his house was on fire lie would be the first to ring tho boll.—l am, etc. FIREMAN NO. 2.
