OTAIvI STOCK SALES. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report 011 their Otaki sale, held yesterday, as follows:—A good yarding of both sheep and cattle came forward. Sheep were not keenly competed for, but cattle sold readily, and well in 'favour 01 vendors. Wo quote:— Sheep.—Prime heavy ewes, IGs; cull ewes, 3s Bd. Cattle—Springinig heifers, £6 7s Gd, £6 17s (id to £7 2s (id ; others, not so near calving, to £0 7s (id; cows in calf, £3 10s to £5; spring calvers, £3 7s fid, £4, C 4 13s fid. £5, £0 17s Gd to £0 Is; forward cows, £3 12s Gd to £3 16s; mixed weaners, 31s Gd : aged cows, £2 3s, others, £1 10s 'to £2. Pigs.—Baconeis, £1 l-'s. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report as follows:—At Otaki yesterday we had fair yardings of both sh'oep and cattle; all lots changed hands at prices on a par with recent quotations. We quote: Sheep.—2 and 4-tooth wethers. 12s 9d : 4, G and s.m. ewes in lamb. 10s 9d to Us Gd: aged ew'os in lamb, 8s 4d; woolly lambs, 8s 3d. Cattle.— Forward cows. £3 5s to C 3 12s Gd ; guaranteed dairy cows. C 8; others. £3 Is; store cows. 355: fat cows, £4 17s Gd; bulls. 30s to £3 2s Gd. Horses.—Unbroken 4-yenr horses, C 7 to Ci) 2s Gd: aged draughts, £4 to £0.
