RIFLE SHOOTING.

LEVIN DEFENCE RIFLE CLUB. On Saturday .afternoon, the Levin Defence Hi fie Club fired the final competition for the trophies presented by Messrs A. T. Wanton and Co., W. M. Clark, and T. Jonman. KJlm. Charles Ingram topped the list (iJ iiyfir.esn.tes with 227 points, Hflm. W. I{. Ingram being second with 225 points, and mini. J>. J OJ i es third with 221 points. It w«s a good day for marksmanship, and some good shooting was done at 500 yards range, where .Hflm. E. (). Lewer just missed the- possible bv one point. Scores:--
