Mr Ernest Short, a well-known hreder of Romuey Marsh sheep, last night was entertained at dinner at Kimbolton, by the Kiwitea. County Council, of which he is a member. Mr Hockey, the- chairman of the Council, presented Mr Short with a golden token, and wished him every success in his venture to the Argentine International Show. Mr Short is to exhibit a number of Romneys at Buenos Ayres. Mr Short stated it had been his ambition to meet English breeders in competition. He leaves by the lonic on Thursday. Mr Jas. Knight, another well-known sheep breeder here, is accompanying Mr Short,
