A BIASED CABLEGRAM.
•— PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. HOW THE NEWS TS TINCTURED. The following cablegram affords one of many instances of how the London newspapers which control the Australasian cable .service allow their prejudice in favour of "Tariff Reform" to colour their reports of the proceedings of people who are opposed to them. [NY KI.ECTKIC TELKGItAI , H--IWPYItK:iIT.] fj'Kll IMIESS ASSOCIATION.! (Received This Day, 9.-10 a.m.) LONDON, April 8. Half a dozen .self-appointed and sell-styled Imperial missiioiiers from Canada, South Africa and Australia are addressing meetings in England on "Imperial Preference." They do not seek the support of political organisations, and do not claim to tie acting in a representative capacity, but they promise to undertake revision like religious revival. [This newspaper has no brief for cither of the parties concerned above, but it strongly objects to being compelled to pay for tincaliled comments of biased newspapers. News is New Zealand's need in regard to these matters. J
