One tiling greatly remarked on was the splendid shooting by the junior members of the Hillo Club. .Air A. Seifert's Paiaka flaxmill will finish stripping this week. They have about a month's scutching to "do prior to closing down the- mill for the "winter months. It is estimated that about 200 acres of flax was burnt on Monday.* The fire was practically out on Tuesday morning. Fortunately most of it had been recently cut.
