NEAR MAXATvAIT. Tt was reported from Mnnakau, yesterday afternoon, that the escaped prisoner Powelka h-id been seen near Curtis' hush, 011 the Otiki side of Manakau. Constable Bagrie went down to investigate the rumor yesterday, and some developments nny be looked for in the course of this aftennoon.
