FORESTRY AT LEVIN.

A successful smoke wncert in connection with the local Lodge of Foresters (" Pride of Levin," /G10) was hold Inst evening in the Foresters' Hall, Oxford street. Chief Ranger, Bro. P. Stevens, presided, and extended a cordial welcome to D.C.R. Jesson, who paid the lodge an official visit. The loy.il toast was duly honoured, and the D.C.R, gave an' interesting address on the progress of the Order in New Zealand. Bras. Davison, Pink, and Carruthers replied to the toast of " The Visiting Brethren," and songs were given, among others, by .Messrs Carruthers, Davison, W. S. Allaway, and F. Pink. Mr Kearsley presided at the piano.
