'llio km:/ of all gnmes-- Rugby footbiill - is to be given its first .start for 1010 .this evening, when the annual meeting of the Lovin-'Wjuicler-ers' Club will be held. The committee's report will come up for consideration, ami there may be a discussion on football generally. This meeting takes place at 8 o'clock, but prior to that there will be a meeting of the Horowhenua Referees' Association, which is a band of enthusiasts who givo a lot ol time and <k> to ,i lot of trouble without reward to control the sport for the. benefit of those who more actively engage in it. ill
