LEVIN WATER SUPPLY.

PROGRESS OF WORK. The laying of the mains in connection with the water Supply of Levin is rapidly approaching completion, and at the present time between 40 rtnd 50 men arc engaged upon this and contingent work. The suspension bridge, which will carry the pipes over the river, will, it is anticipated, be finished at an early date. Up to Saturday about 40 house connections had been made. The whole of the work will, it is understood, be completed within six weeks.
