IMPROVED RAILWAY REVENUE.
In the period of 31l days terminated on sth February last, thejjew Zealand, railways yielded £2,682,bbl in revenue, and involved an expenditure of £1,844,527. These receipts arc over £300,000 better than those of the corresponding period of the previous financial year, and the increased expenditure is set down as only £97,000.
