Hauhatjs At Tologa Bat.— The master of the cutter- Agnes reports when he left Tologa Bay. on Thursday last, it was reported that a large number of Hauhaus were encamped among the hills in the vicinity. Great' ex citement prevailed amongst the settlers . and friendly natives,— the. former taking to the .bush every night to sleep,, and the .latter -retreating into caves or to Motuhika Island. A. descent on the settlement was greatly feared. The Agnes/ we hear, returns to, Tologa Bay. £jould not the Government" spare some arms and ammunition for the settlers ol that district?
