Forces in case of alarm :^ — Captain Tanner. and the men.' .of his troop resident in. Napier, Nos7l. and 2 Companies of Militia, and Captain Buchanan’s Volunteers will repair to, and fall in, in front of the Militia Office. Tho men residing near the late Royal Hotel will fall in, under command of Lieut. Richardson, in front of his house. The men residing on : the Spit will full in in front of the Post Office, under command of Ensign Rontledge.; - The whole will await orders and observe the strictest silence. The Commanding Officer directs every man of .the Local Forces to have his arms, &c., so placed that he can equip himself in the dark at the shortest notice. By order, — E. WITHERS, 428 Capt. & Adjt.
