The Weekly Times. Nullius addictus jurare in verba magistri. MONDAY, MAY 25, 1868. MR. STAFFORD’S SPEECH.

A considerable portion of our available space this morning is occupied by Mr Stafford’s speech. We at first intended to publish a mere abstract; but, considering the address to be of historical importance, and following out the wishes of a number of our readers, we insert to-day the full report published by the Nelson Examiner. The address, and Mr Luckie’s reply, well repay perusal; but the great length of the report prevents us from making any comments on it in our present issue.
