MAILS CLOSE, — For Wellington and Southern Ports, per s.s. Ahuriri, To-morrow (Tuesday), at 11 a.m. at the Chief Post Office, and at 10 a.m. at the
Branch Office. For England, via Panama, also for the British American Colonies, the United States, and other countries of North and South America, per s.s. Lord Ashley, at the Chief Post Office, at 11 a.m. on Friday, 29th-May, 1868, and at the Branch Office, Hastings-street, at 10 a.m. For Taurauga and Auckland, peT Lord Ashley, on Friday, 29th May, at 11 a.m. at the rCliief Post Office, and at 10 a.m. at the Branch Office. <33~ Money Orders will not ho issued after 5 p.m. on Thursday, 28th May. Begistered Let-
ters will be received until within one hour of the closing of the mail. Should the Auckland portion of the Panama mail be on board, the mails by the Lord Ashley will close as above; otherwise, she will not leave until Saturday. 30th May, when the mails will close at 11 a.m. at the Chief Post Office, and 10 a.m. at the Branch office on that day.
