Government Advertisements. PROCLAMATION. By Lis Honor Donald M'Lean, Esqjiire, f Superintendent : of the Province of Hawke’s Bay, in the 1 slands of New Zealand. WHEREAS by an Act. of the General Assembly, intituled “The Hawke’s Bay Waste Hand Regulations Amendment Act, 18(35,” it is enacted that all >vastti lands of the Crown in the said Province ljot heretofore proclaimed as open for selection or salej shall, before being proclaimed as open for selection or sale, be classified as follows by the Commissioner of Crown Lands;-?-Class 1 shall com prise lands suitable for pwnships or for special settlement. Class 2 shall, comprise lands suitable for agricultural settlement. Class ($ shall comprise land suitable for pastoral purposes. And whereas there are no lands within the boundaries of the land described ju tli’e Schedule hereunto annexed suitable for townships, or for special settlement, or for agiicpltural settlements; and whereas by tlio said Act it is further enacted that all the lands comprised in Class 3 aforesaid shall be divided into blocks suitable for runs, and offered for lease for terms of 14 years by public auction— ISlow, therefore, X, the said Donald M‘Lean, Superintendent of the Province of Hawke’s Bay, do hereby .notify and proclaim that the land comprised, in the said First Schedule, hereunto will be offered to be leased by pubjic auction for a term of fourteen years, jat the Crown Lands Office in Napier,'on THURSDAY, tho twenty-third day of April next, at noon, in the lots set forth in the Second Schedule, hereunto amiexed, and thattheperson whoshall bid the highest for each lot shall become the leased of the same; and I further notify that the sums of money set against eacn lot shall represent the lowest reut which will be accepted for each lot. /.
