Inland Communication. —We observe with a degree of pleasure the efforts that are being made by tlie enterprising “Cobb and C 0.,” to establish a regular line of coaches from Napier to the interior of the Province. A semi-weekly communication with Waipawa, which was the Erst effort, has already been for some time extended as far as Waipukurau, and a further extension of the line to include a weekly coach to Porangakau has been decided on, which will commence on the first of next month. We hope that we shall shortly be in a position to announce the opening of the route right through to Wellington —a desirable consummation now that our seaboard commuication is unsatisfactory, and threatens to become worse.
