THE POSTAL CONFERENCE.

Victoria is yet, it seems, likely to withdraw from the Panama Postal arrangement. The Argus, of the 24th ultimo, says : —“lt is reported that the Government intend to withdraw from the arrangement entered into by the Postal, Conference, in consequence of the tone adopted by the delegates of New South "Wales. It is understood that the motion of Mr MacMahon will be met by an amendment from the Ministerial side of tho House substantially the same as the motion, but without any reflection upon the representatives of Victoria at the conference.”
