By a telegram received last evening, from Wellington we learn that the Local Government Bill was thrown out on Thursday, on the second by a majority of nine.We are,.hot told what course the Government; will pursue; whether they .will meekly he. cept their defeat and retain - their places, or whether they will take tlie constitutional course of appealing to the couutry,\ after hastening through the business; of the session, and stand or fall by the verdict. *
