WJIEREAS by an Act of the Provincial Council of Wellington, Session 3, No. 8, ft An Act to amend and consolidate the Law relating to Cattle Trespass and Impounding,” and an Act of Session 8, No. 8, of the Provincial Council of the Province of Hawke’s Bay, intituled ** An Act to amend an Act and consolidate the'Law relating to Cattle Trespass and Impounding, Session 3, No. 8, of the Pro-) *inee of Wellington,” it is amongst other things enacted, that the Superintendent tnay from time to time, by Proclamation, declare any Pounds to be or cease to be public Pounds within the meaning of the sslid Act, and may, from time to time, in like manner appoint Keepers of such pounds.' Now, therefore, I, Donald M : Lean, Superintendent of the Province of Hawke’s Hay, do hereby proclaim that the respective person and place hereinafter - mentioned shall be a Poundkeeper and public Pound Mr Edward Connors, Waipawa. Ashley and Lemuel Say well filed herein and on bearing Mr Pharazyn of counsel for the said Lemuel say well it is' ordered that the said petition be accepted and that the estate and effects oi the said petitioner be sequestrated in the hands of the Inspector in Bankruptcy for the said Province of Hawke’s Bay and that the said petitioner do come up tor hearing before His Honor Mr Justice Johnston pt the Supreme Court House Napier on the first, practicable sittings of the sai ! Court at the hour of ten o’clock in tlufovenoon and that a meeting of tlie Creditors of the said petitioner beheld att:ie office of J. N. Wilson Esquire in Name aforesaid on Monday the 15lh day of July jnstant at the hour of 12 o’clock in tinforenoon for the purpose of recotntnending Trustees of the said ejtate ami effects and the mode of winding up the said estate and .that the said Inspector in Bankruptcy-", be appointed ad interim Sequestrator of the said Estate and jt is further ordered that this present order shall be a vesting order as provided by the Debtor’s and. Creditor’s Act Amendment Act 1865 provided however that nothing herein .contained shall protect the person pf the said petitioner from any writ of arjrest which may issue against him under the Writ of Arrest Act to the satisfaction of a ffudge of this honorable Court or of a Registrar thereof in the absence of a Judge.
