Insurances Not Valid UNDER INVAUD UCENSES Owing to their dilatortness Ln » newing their drivers’ licenses, many motorists are faced with tho very serious possibility that in the event of their having an accident, insurance companies will refuse to pay their claims. The Hastings Town Clerk, Mr Noel C. Harding, explains that where * driver has an accident, and has not renewed his license for the current year, the insurance companies are absolved from all liability to pay out on claims, and whether they do so or not is entirely a matter for their own choice. Extra temporary assistance will be engaged so that th# work w(ll be promptly and thoroughly carried out. Only 800 licenses have so far be## renewed, stated Mr Harding, and there are some 1800 yet to be taken out.
