PERSONAL NOTES.

Mrs. Douglas Williams, of Havelock North, returned on Wednesday from Wellington. • # • Mrs. Robertson, of Hastings, and her small son Donald, left on Thursday morning en route for a visit to relatives in England. * " * Miss Townsend, of Napier, returned on Thursday after a holiday out at Hillsbrook.

Mrs. F. von Dadelszen motored back on Thursday, after a week in Wellington.

Mrs. and Miss Moorehouse, of Cambridge, are staying in Havelock North at Hillsbrook.

Miss K. Swan, of the Masterton Hospital staff is staying on a holiday with her parents in Hastings.

Mrs. and Miss Orr, who have been on an extended tour of South Africa and Australia, have returned to Havelock, and are spending some months at Hillsbrook.

Miss Rhoda Holt returned this week after an extended tour of England and the Continent.

Mrs. Matthew Holmes, of Hobson street, Wellington, whose daughter is a pupil at Woodford House, is staying at Hillsbrook. Mrs Rawson, of Wellington, is also staying at Hillsbrook; also Mrs. Young, of Hill street, Wellington, for the same school functions.

Mrs. McGuire, of Auckland, is staying at Hillsbrook to attend the “Iona” functions.

Mrs. St. John Buckley, of England, is staying in Havelock North for a few days with her brother, Mr. Nicholson Miller,

Mrs. F. Hills, of Remuera, Auckland, is staying at Hillsbrook for the Woodford House festivities.

On Tuesday last, on behalf of the Hastings branch of the Mothers’ Union, -Mrs. Boshier presented Deaconess Holmes with a little farewell present prior to her departure for England.

Miss Clayton, of Havelock North, has returned from Sydney, where she has been studying advanced music at the Conservatorium.

Mr. and Mrs. F. McLeod, of Hastings, returned on Tuesday, after an extended tour of England and abroad.

Miss Gray, who has been for many years a valued member of the Mahora School staff, leaves soon to take up her residence with her sister, Miss G. Gray, in Wellington.
