MOTHERS’ UNION
ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Hastings branch of the Mothers’ Union was held on Tuesday last. After a short service in St. Matthew’s Church taken by Rev. C. Mortimer-Jones, business was tranacted and reports of the various branches read. 'There was also a report from the Central Council in London. The following officers wer P elected: Mrs de Lisle, presiding member; Mrs Boshier, delegate; Mrs Mayo, literature associate; Mrs Hopkins, hon. secretary and treasurer. About twenty-five members were present who were given afternoon tea by Mrs T. B. McNeil on the Vicarage lawn.
The meetings begin again on March 6, 1928.
