WOMEN’S CLUB

COMMITTEE MEETING

The last committee meeting for 1927 was held at the Women’s Club on Tuesday, Mrs. Stead, the president, in the chair; I’s members of the committee were present. It was decided to agree to the suggestion of the Borough Council that the club provide a bouquet to be presented to Mrs. Amery, and also that they decorate the stage at the Theatre on the occasion of her visit to Hastings. The collection for the Christmas fund of the H.B. Children’s Home, from members of the Chib, realised over £2O. The committee will meet again in February next.
