BETWEEN TWO HASTINGS TOWNS PRESENTATION OF UNION JACKS The Union Jack received from Hastings, New Zealand, in Septembei 1908, has been won for the current quarter by Christ Church junior mixed school with an average percentage attendance of 96. This was the information received from the secretary of the Hastings (England) Education Committee at the regulai meeting of the Hastings Borough Council last evening Continuing the writer stated that presentation of the additional flag by the Rt. Hon Sir James Pari. K.C.M.G.. took place af a meeting of the Education Committee at the Town Hall of Hastings (England) The new flag would be held by the Hastings Girls’ Central School for the remainder of the current quarter with an average attendance of 95.6 “The interest taken in the matter by the High Commissioner and voui council is greatly appreciated and we extend our sincere thanks. The flag will be an additional incentive to regular attendance in our schools and forms another link between this town and Hastings New Zealand,’’ concluded the letter.
