TECHNICAL COLLEGE

NAPIER SCHOOL’S SITE.

MEETING OF GOVERNORS.

The Napier Technical College Board of Managers met yesterday. Present; Messrs T W. Bear (chairman). R. O. Wright, A. G. Pallot, C O Morse, C. Clark Thomson and Mrs Wright. Mr. John Mason, M.P.. wrote enclosing a copy of Sir Maui Pomare's Local Legislation Bill, one provision of which authorises the Napier Harbour Board to grant a lease, with the option to purchase, on the site of the new school buildings

This, said Mr. McLaren, was a welcome relief to the board as it brought the matter to a definite conclusion. Mr. Mason’s energy and assistance had done much for the board. He thought that a letter of appreciation might he sent to him. The suggestion was agreed to by the board who thoroughly endorsed Mr. McLaren’s remarks.
