AUCKLAND RE-HANDICAPS. Auckland, Dec. 9. For their wins at Woodville, Royal Damon and Cimabue have been raised 31bs. each in the Railway Handicap to be run at Ellerslie on Boxing Day. The new weights are: Royal Damon 8.2, Cimabue 8.1. \ ’ THE KING'S CUP. « (Received 9, 8.50 a.m.) Sydney, Dec. 9. The Jockey Club has fixed the King's Cup to be run at the autumn Doncaster meeting on April 14. The added money will be £2OOO, in addition to a gold cup valued at £lOO, the gift of the King. The distance is 1J miles. The highest weight to be carried will be 9.5 and the lowest 7.0. Entries close on January 17. The coveted prize is expected to draw large entries.
