WARATAH S SECOND DEFEAT. MATCH AGAINST PONTYPOOL. (Received 9, 1.40 p.m.) 'London, Dec. 8. The Waratahs lost their second game of the tour ,and the last match in Wales. The Waratahs’ entire team was below normal form, and the Pontypool forwards dominated the game throughout the first half the Waratahs never coming near scoring. Pontypool’s score in this half was an easy penalty goal. The visitors livened after the interval and scored a try but this was their only successful effort against Pontypoolsuperb tackling and general defence. Two minutes from full time the home team added the winning points with a try. The final score was 6 to 3.—(A. and N.Z.)
