Glorious weather prevails for the first day of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Championship n't Lancaster Park. The programme began this afternoon with heats of 100 yards and 220 yards, folowcd by the quarter mile hurdles, three mile walk, long jump, etc. The most interesting events take place to-morrow.
