ESCAPEE RECAPTURED

SLEPT NEAR POLICE STATION. AN INJURED LEG. (Per Press Association). Auckland, Dec. 8. The escaped prisoner, William Henry Grant, was recaptured at 11 o’clock to-day at the rear of the Church of Christ, in Ponsonby road.
