HAWKE'S BAY SEAT. LABOUB TO CONTEST. At a well-attended meeting of the Hastings branch of the New Zealand Labour party held on Tuesday evening. it was definitely decided, subject Ito the approval of the Hawke’s Bay Labour Representation Committee, to contest the Hawke’s Bay seat at the general elections in 1928. Owing to the lengtffy nature of the business, the nomination of officers for the National Erecutive of the N.Z. Labour party was held over until the next meeting.
