HAVELOCK NORTH CLUB. WEEKLY CARNIVAL. The weekly carnival was held at the baths last evening, and was the best attended to date. All the events were got off smartly and gave satisfaction to all concerned. The officials were;—Handicapper, Mr. J. Murphy; hon secretary, Air. F. Bee; announcer, Mr. W. Leicester; starter, Mr. A. HERETAUNGA HANDICAPS The Heretaunga Swimming Club will hold a carnival to-morrow night which should attract a good crowd, as this sport has been rather unfortunate lately. Swimmers should note that a polo match will be held after the races and names are wanted for the teams. In addition to the following handicaps, those for the teams race will be declared on the mark.
