[By Cable — Press Assn. — Copyright.]

(Received 7, 8.20 a.m.)

Odessa. Dec. 6. A weird murder tragedy has just been announced by the police. A rich Ural landowner’s body was placed in a church and watched throughout the night by a priest and a choir boy. When the church was opened .in the morning the boy was found unconscious and the priest strangled. The boy declared the corpse rose up at midnight and seized the priest, but the boy collapsed and saw no more. The police- found the corpse still in its coffin and' suspected a local undesirable, who, when arrested, confessed that the priest had refused to repay him five roubles which he had borrowed and he (the arrestee) hid in the church, took the corpse’s place in the coffin and murdered the priest.—(Sydney “Sun” cable.)
