THROUGH WAITANGI OR WASHOUT? CLIVE RESIDENTS CONCERNED. At to-day's meeting of the Hawke’s Bay Rivers Board. Mr W. Hellyer Stated that there was "Ulte an uneasy feeling at Clive regarding the diversion of the Tutaekuri and he asked whether it was to be diverted through the Waitangi or the Wash-out. The chairman (Mr J A. Miller) explained that, according to Mr Hay’s scheme, it would be taken through the Wash-out. The matter could not be discussed now, as all the schemes submitted to the Board would have to be investigated by the committee which would shortly consider the whole of the rivers problem.
