MARKET EASIER
WELLINGTON WOOL SALE COMPETITION MUCH WIDER. PRICES BELOW NOVEMBER AUCTIONS, (Per Press Association). Wellington, Dec. 5. At the wool sales this morning the proceedings indicated an easier market. There was a total offering of 25,780 bales. Competition was much wider than at the November sale. Prices, though well up to London parity, were a halfpenny for good to a penny for lower grade below those of November. Many lots were passed in owing to a discrepancy of opinion between growers and buyers. Some of the prices are d. <l.
