The Canadian bond market is unusually strong, with the times good throughout Canada, and money is plentiful. The income which Canadians reap from investments at home and abroad was recently estimated at £15,000,000 a mouth. A good portion of this seeks re-investment. The Dominion Government recently financed war debt payments falling due by the issue of 4 per cent. Treasury notes which were sold to the Canadian banks at par.—(Sydney “Sun” cable.)
