STUD SHEEP
WAIRARAPA ANNUAL SALE. The attention of stud sheep breeders is drawn to the tenth Wairarapa Stud Sheep Breeders’ annual sale, which will be held at Solway Show grounds, Masterton, on the 12th January, 1928, at 10.30 a.m. when stud and selected flock Romney Marsh rams, stud and flock Lincoln rams, stud and flock Southdown rams will be offered. The Wairarapa is admitted by breeders to be the home of the Romney Marsh s[ieep in the Dominion and undoubtedly some of the best flocks are to be found in that district. W’nners of the championships at the 1924, 1925. 1926 and 1927 Royal Shows, and winners of the championships and first prizes throughout the Wellington, Manawatu, Wanganui and Hawke’s Bay districts, are among the vendors at the sale. Vendors have agreed that they will offer only their best animals for the sale so intending buyers can depend on the pick of the Wairarapa sheep being offered as every leading breeder in the district has entered for the sale.
