The householders of Havelock are reminded that there will be a large demonstration of firemen from different brigades, to be held in the Domain on Saturday, December 10th, commencing at 1.30 p.m. to open with a demonstration with the new fire engine, and brigade sports to follow. The brigade is making a special appeal to the people of Havelock to attend. The brigade is a volunteer institution working for the benefit of the public, and the members are anxious for the Havelock public to see what they can do in the way ol handling fire appliances. They are also trying out a new fire extinguished before they purchase it. With this extinguisher they will be able to operate outside the water area as well as the houses inside the Town Board area, should their services be unfortunately required. The admission is only 1/- for adults and 6d for children. There will be amusements provided fcr all.
