TROWERN DEFEATS HANCC-X. NARROW MARGIN OF POINTS. (Received 3, 12.5 p.m.) Sydney, Dec. 3. At Leichhardt Stadium, Trowern (10.5)) just managed to secure a sufficient margin of points to defeat Hancock (10.6). It was a very close contest and the New Zealander, only by scoring most points in tho first few rounds, was enabled to gain the decision. y
Hancock, wlio was in his best form, scored a good load over the first six rounds and had the New 7-nlander floored in the ninth Thereafter the latter made a good recovery mid scraped through by a narrow margin.
