“CAT” BURGLARS
LONDON STORES RAIDED.
A BIG HAUL (Received 3. 9.20 a.m.) London, December 2. Surprising success attended a gang of burglars operating in one of London's biggest stores. Barkers, Kensington, were astonishingly raided by expert “cat” burglars, who visited each of the four floors, using hosepipes round on the premises as ropes. The haul consisted largely of jewellery, valued at £300(1. A. and N.Z.)
