TARANAKI FARMERS’ OPPOSITION. (Per Press Association). Hawera, Dee. 2. The South Taranaki Farmers’ Union executive, which resolved in October to ignore summer-time by meeting at 12 o’clock instead of 11 o’clock, met for the first time under the new-time tabe yesterday. It was decided to rescind the resolution and meet at 11 o’clock in future. The president, Mr 11. Hodge, voiced opposition. “I absolutely ignore Mr Sidey’s time, and refuse to alter my clocks even for the Queen of England,” ho said. ‘‘As far as I’m eonccrhed the meetings will start at 10 o ’clock. ’ ’
