WEDDING.

GLENN Y—WATSON, A quiet and very interesting wedding was celebrated yesterday afternoon at St. Luke’s Church. Havelock North, by the Rev. Canon K S. Marleau. who united in marriage Lonsdale Glenny. of Onga • Inga, and Violet Watson, of Hastings The bride, who wa» given away bv Mr. F. J. Tonkin, was charmingly attired in a grey crepe-de-chine frock, with panels of radium lace, wearing n mauve hat and grey shoes and stock, ipgs and bearing a beautiful bouquet of mauve flowers She was attended by Miss Glennv (sister of ihe bridegroom) in an exceedingly pretty dress of saxe-blue eharmelain. with hat to tone, and carrying a handsome shower bouquet of pink flowers. Mr. Denis Glenny (son of the bridegroom) discharged the duties of best man At the conclusion of the service, the bride and bridegroom left the church to the strains of a Wedding March. Subsequently, some fifty wedding guests, including the bridegroom’s father and two brothers, the latter accompanied by their wives. Were most hospitably entertained nt “Hillsbrook.” where tables were laid on the lawn and a very oniovahle few hours were spent in the course of which the toast of “The bride and bridegroom and their happiness and prosnerityV was enthusiastically drunk. At the conclusion of the recention the guests, on taking leave of Mr and Mrs Glenny, again extended their hearty congratulations and their sincere wishes for their tntnre happiness The bride is an old resident of Hastings, where she is much c«tearned, and Mr. Glenny and his family are well-known and respected throughout the province, so that then both carry with them irto their wedded life the good wishes cf everyone who knows them.
