ST. MATTHEW’S CHURCH

VISITED BY BISHOP OF WAIAPU. CONFIRMATION SERVICE. There was a large congregation at St. Matthew’s Church. Hastings, last evening when the Bishop of Waiapu, the Rt. Rev. W. W. Sedgwick, made his first visit to the church since his trip to the home Country. The occasion was the confirmation service of 17 hoys and 13 girU and th'' Bishop addressed the candidates on Christian life and the need for strength. taking as his text “Seek re the Lord, while He may be found. Seek ve His face.” Through the service the choir gave several anthems, the service being a choral one.
