BOWLING.
DOMINION TEAM TO VISIT BRITAIN. NAMES OF TOURING PLAYERS The New Zealand Bowling Association has announced the names of players who will represent New Zealand on a visit to Great Britain. Canada and Southern California. Several ladies , will accompany the party, which will leave Wellington by the Ulimaroa on February 10 next for Sydney’ joining the Orvieto for London eight days later. It is anticipated bowls will be played in Sydney, Melbourne. Adelaide and Perth while in Australia. The tour of England, Ireland and Scotland will commence about May 1, and end about the middle of July. The party, having been invited by the Candaiau Lawn Bowling Association to tour Canada, proposes leaving London on or about August 11 to fill this engagement. A pressing invitation has also been received from the South Californian Lawn Bowling Association for a visit after the completion of the Canadian tour, which may be accepted. Tho officers of the team will bo appointed by the Dominion of New Zealand Bowling Association executive in Christchurch.
