DEATH OF A YOUTH. RESULT OF MOTOR COLLISION. -'Per Press Association IPaimerston North., Nov. 29. A coronial inquiry was held this morning into the circumstances surrounding the death of Jack Fleming, nged 17, as a result of injuries sustained in a collision between a motor cycle he was riding and a nmtor car at a street intersection Evidence was given that the deceased sustained severe internal injuries and his case was hopeless. The opinion was also expressed that if the deceased had continued straight on instead of swerving ho would have missed the car. The coroner's verdict was that deceased met his death from shock and haemorrhage as a result of severe internal injuries. The coroner commented: “This has been a case of misadventure Both motorists appear to have been approaching the intersection at more than a safe speed hut an error of iudament apparently was made bv Fleming in turning to th" left instead of keeping straight on."
