BREAKING AND ENTERING
CHARGES AGAINST TAXI DRIVER. COMMITTED FOR SENTENCE. (Per Pres* Association). Christchurch, Nov. 29. James Hamblin, aged 39, a taxi driver, was committed for sentence at the Supreme Court on five charges of breaking and entering Mitchell’s boot store and stealing goods to the value of £3l 5/-. A watch was kept by the manager and a detective and they seized the accused after he had entered the warehouse by inserting a key in the door.
