JOCKEY CLUB'S BAD LUCK. RAIN FALLS WHEN TIME LIMIT EXPIRES. (Received 28, 10.55 n.m.) Newcastle, Nov. 28. The Jockey Club by payment of a premium of £6O insured its meeting on Saturday 4'or £BOO against 10 points of rain falling bv a certain time on Saturdav. but when the time limit expired the gauge registered only 9.1 points. Immediately afterwards torrential rain fell, causing the meeting to be postponed.
