The scheduled endurance flight or the Southern Cross has been postponed until Monday Captain Kingsford Smith stated the reason was that there had to be a variation of a thousandth of an inch is in adjustment of the motors. He mentioned December 6 as the' possible date for his departure tor Australia and announced that the Southern Cross had been rechristened “The Spirit of California.”—(A. and N.Z.)
