WEDDING.

CHAMBERS NANCARROW. A wedding of considerable interest to residents of Hawke’s Bay took place on Wednesday last, November 23rd, at All Saints’ Church, Dunedin, when Eileen Marjorie Nancarrow, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Forbcry Nancarrow, of Allandale road. St. Clair, was married to B: rnard Lowry Chambers, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Chamber#, Te Mata, Havelock North. The officiating minister was Canon Button. The church was beautifully decorated by the i girl friends of the bride with masses of pale pink rhododendrons, and bridal party in their dainty frocks formed a charming group. The bride, who came up the aisle on the arm of her father, Mr. Fosberg Nancarrow, wore a simple but very beautiful frock of deep cream georgette mounted on satin ; it was cut with a scalloped hem edged with tiny frills of fine gold lace. The long train was of cream satin, and over all fell the exquisite veil of Honiton lace ' belonging ■to her gram'enother. A bouquet of stepanotic and roses was carried, and an emerald and diamond ring, the gift of the bridegroom, was worn. There were two bridesmaids—Miss Bettv Nancarrow, and Miss Hazel Chambers, of Havelock N. Their frocks were of very pale beige lace and georgette, with the lace vandyked in front and at the back Large crinoline strait hats with light apricot and pink roses on the crowns were worn, and also shoes and stockings of the same colouring. Beautiful bouquets of rose coloured sweet peas and roses were carried completing the pretty colour scheme. The best man was Mr. lan Gordon, of Taurapa, Hawke’s Bay. After the ceremony a reception was held by Mr. and Mrs. Nancarrow. The bride’s mother wore an attractive dress of navy blue and grey shot silk, withp a nets of georgette, and a hat with wings to tone with the frock. A beautiful bouquet’ was carried. Mrs. Bernard Chambers, mother of the bridegroom, was in a charming frock of black chantilly lace and georgette over mushroom silk, and wore a picture hat of straw with roaes on the crown. A beautiful rose-tinted bouquet was carried. Others present included Mrs. Nancarrow, grandmother of the bride, also Mrs. McLean (Christchurch), Mrs. Charlie Gordon (H. 8. Mrs. Oox (Canterbury) who are aunts of the bride: also Mrs. Sanders (H. 8. aunt of the bridegroom, and many other relatives and friends. After the hapnv couple had rccH” the congratulations of their friends they left for a motor tour. The bride chose as her travelling ensemble a bois-de-rose dress of crepe-de-chine, and a smart little rep. coat with rucked ribbons round tho cuffs and hem. A prettv hat and shot's toned with the dress.
