THE SONG OF THE SHELLS.
+ ; — Last n’ght I thought that all the shells Came up from out the sea. And wher 1 nestled down in bed. They sang aloud to me. They sang me songs of dancing waves And birds that o’er them fly: Of fleecy clouds that scurry past High in the azure sky. Just then my nurse came up the stairs To put out every light; And, when the shells heard her quick tread. They vanished out of sight.
